Reactive power compensation unit – switchboard equipment that contributes to the economical consumption of electricity. Recommended for facilities where energy efficiency is required. By reducing the consumption of reactive electrical energy, the working potential of electrical equipment is economically spent – cable and wire products, as well as transformers are operated for a longer time.

Particularly noticeable is the functionality of reactive power compensation devices at diesel and coal-type power plants, which provide electricity to certain urban areas, settlements in rural areas. The consumer level of coal is being reduced, which is especially important at the present time, when the cost of energy resources has sharply increased.

The devices are offered in two versions:

• monoblock – designed to work in the collective networks of small enterprises and to compensate for the reactive power of individual electrical receivers, group networks of large industrial areas;
• modular – applicable for compensatory purposes in collective power grids, at medium-sized enterprises and large industries.

By agreement with the customer, it is possible to create installations of any type and capacity.
